I can really relate to Keller's quote. It really does have a lot of truth in it.

When one door closes it just means it wasn't meant for you. I like to think of it that way, i like to think that things happen for a reason and i don't like to question the reason because then i start going in circles trying to wonder why that door closed on me. 

An example to this quote is like when you get to college. 

We'll call this young man, Tyler. 

Now, Tyler wants to pursue the criminal justice career and he's so excited and pumped up about it because he's gonna do what he wants and he's gonna be earning a lot of money. But then he realizes: "wait, i don't like this anymore im actually into cooking" well that door closed on him but the cooking door is open for him and even tho it took him time to see that door open now Tyler has a great job and it was all worth it in the end.

There comes a point in your life, where you realize what exactly you want to do with it; when all of a sudden those years of fog finally cleared up. but this happens when you have gone through the necessary in-order to get there. Who knows? Maybe you or that person have had to go through some hard changes, some hard stumbles or maybe not. Maybe, just maybe life can be a skate through the park with just some cracks on the sidewalk. It really just depends on you. on how you decide to live your life. Thats why i like this quote. because it gives me the opportunity to go beyond it's meaning because it doesn't just have one meaning; everyone has there own way at looking at things.

You can see it as a way of challenging yourself, or as a negative thing; but everything and where you are now is because of you and no one else. When you choose the right, usually that door won't close but if for some unforeseen reason it's closed on you, just keep peddling and believe you'll get a door open soon enough because you've worked hard and you deserve it :)

Sportsmanship!

Sportsmanship is very important when it comes to being an athlete. It says a lot about you, it says how you are as a person and how well you get along with others. It's very important to congratulate your opponent after a game because it could be one of two. Either you loose and you're not a sore loser. Or you win and you show honor that you're a good sport.

For example, playing fair  is important because it also says what type of coach you have.
An example of an athlete showing good sportsmanship is Kobe Bryant.
Kobe is an outstanding player and he shows sportsmanship. Im sure after a game he usually gives good feedback, doesn't brag about his win and knows he played fairly . And even if he lost he accepts it and doesn't act immaturely.

But I didn’t. All I mostly did was stay home, sleep in, sleep late, get started on my personal statements and get ready for thanksgiving (:

The morning of thanksgiving I went to work with my aunt, & it wasn’t that fun because I wasn’t home JI seriously thought that I was going to pig out, but to my surprise I ate some salad and hardly ate turkey! I wanted to stuff my face (ha) but I couldn’t :/

After all I had a fun thanksgiving because I spent it all with my family and I was thankful for everything.

Black Friday D:

I went black Friday shopping but I went at 7, I wasn’t crazy enough to go at midnight but I did get into some random argument with a lady that almost stole the pj’s I was buying l:<

People get crazy, ! I saw this video on YouTube , where this pregnant lady gets knocked over by people when they opened the door, talk about freaks.

When it came to Saturday, I didn’t even feel like it was the weekend, because I was out of school the whole week. I wanted it to be over; until Sunday came by. I wanted to sleep in and wake up at 10 like I did every morning, but now I’m just waiting for my Christmas break; because I’m gong to Vegas  :D

John Mayer

Id say Mayer is one of my fav. acoustic artists. I love his songs, they're very calm but not too calm. They send really good messages and it's just the mellow sounds to his guitar.
One of my favorite songs from him is Gravity; this song is really calm but yet i like it. it's not like a symphony cus he actually does sing. Another one is Daughters it says about how the fathers and mothers should treat their daughter right because they'll be mothers soon; and that they tend to be how their parents are. And now the recent favorite is half of My Heart ft. Taylor Swift.  This song talks about how a man leaves his fiancee because he doesn't love her anymore.

I recommend listening to his songs, :)

True or false ?

One night when I was six years old, I wanted to sleep with my mother because I had a bad dream. As I was walking down the hall, i looked in my living room and saw a family of four people.There was a mother, a father, a daughter and a son. At the time, I didn't have a dad so i was wondering who the man was and every night after that, I had bad dreams and wanted to go sleep with my mother. With how often I had bad dreams, I thought maybe they wanted me to see them, but I wasn't quite sure.

After a few days, I talked to my grandmother about it. She just told me to "Pray for them" so i did and ever since then, I haven't seen them at all.

Two years ago, I went to the Hospital suffering from an asthma attack. On the third night I was there, I saw a little girl in my room. She was in a hospital dress in the doorway staring at me. I got a little scared and called the nurse and asked her to get me some of my overnight dinner. After that, the little girl came back as soon as the nurse left. I got more scared but this time i didn't get the nurse as soon as the little girl saw me get scared, she left.

When i got out of the hospital, I have been seeing her in my house wondering around my school and when i go to the movies, she sits in the seat right next to me or behind me. I see her in the ally when I go to school and I know she doesn't want to hurt me because she never ever comes to my face and says "Help Me" and so I will Let her stay for as long as she wants and the whole time I was writing this, she is standing right beside me.

Summer :)!

A few weeks/months ago it was raining, now it's so hot out; could it be? Yay it's summer!


What's so great about summer? Summer is the time of the year where you wake up and the sun is nice and out, there's hardly any clouds and it's so warm outside. I love summer, that's my favorite time of the year; I'm always happy and it's the perfect time to go to the beach, the park, water parks, and even have pool parties.

I gotta say I NEVER get tired of watching this movie. I absolutely love the songs; (especially that one song You're The One That I Want<3) This movie came out in 1978 it's as old as dinosaurs! lol (exaggeration? yeah!) And some parts of the movie were filmed here at HPHS! :D You guys know the part where Sandy and Danny are dancing at a competition and then Cha Cha takes Danny away from Sandy? Well that gym they're dancing in is the big Gym :o Shocker ? I love this movie, what's your thought about it? Have you seen it? If so, did you like it? If not why ? And if you haven't watched it, when will you?!

Mondays :p

Who here hates Mondays with a passion?

It's the day after the weekend c'mon why should we come to school?! 

I'm sure about all of us are on the same page, but we have to come to school and we have to think positive. Think of it this way: It's Monday and now you only have four days left of the week and i guarantee you your day will go by faster if you think in that positive way. If you think negative and you're so dramatic about it being Monday then your day will be bad and long.  Point being; nobody likes Mondays but we have to work with what we got!

I gotta say i have a lot of favorite videos from YouTube, for example the Fred videos (I love that kid's squeaky voice) a lot of people don't like him I don't understand why, the kid's a genius!

 Another one of my favorites is the music video Somebody to Love by Justin Bieber ft. Usher (I know all of you are like 'omg he sings like a girl!' but I love the way they dance in that video the choreography is so cool).

My biggest pet peeve is when I'm walking and someone behind me steps on my shoe. Omg! Seriously I don't like it, I know they didn't do it on purpose (Some people do) but I still dislike it!

We're all crazy about sports here at HP high now; whether It's basketball, soccer, volleyball, swimming, water polo, lacrosse, cheerleading, softball, baseball and how can i forget football for all the guys out there? We have that pride in the sport that we play; now:

We have two more years, or one if you don't count this one; left of high school ! 

It's a thrill to know we're almost seniors & yet a bummer that we don't have a lot of time left. 

I remember as a freshman I thought "Ugh! Im stuck in this place for four years! It's gonna be hell" but now that I'm more involved and I've gotten to know more students & teachers here Im like "Wow this is almost over for me." Imagine how we're gonna feel next year ? Applying for college, getting jobs, buying our new cars and all that good stuff. I think we should give ourselves a pat in the back for making it this far. For not giving up & dropping out of school, because after all we are Academic Champions & we shall make it to graduation! :D
